Wifi, really friendly staff, location, the room was also really big, the gelateria across the street was awesome.

The bed was reallly hard I couldnt sleep and the hotel was up a flight of stairs, not good for heavy luggages. but the guy at the reception actually helped us half the way!

Room was effective for ours needs although basic. Didn't see much of staff, but the day we checked in we were late for the cut off time. I called ahead and a staff member stayed an extra hour and met us so we good get checked in. Good service.

If you walk away from the city center from the hotel the neighborhood seems to decline pretty rapidly. OK if you remember which way to walk at night.

The hotel was good value for money overall. It had the same quality and a comfort as a more expensive hostel, and perfect for a 1 night stop-over. I booked a single room with shared facilites, however got given a triple room with en suite bathroom upon checking in.

Staff were only at reception a few hours a day - usually when they knew people were checking-in, so weren't around all the time for queries.

Family room size was good. Staff were friendly.

No staff was available after 6 pm.

Excellent location. Close to the train station SMN and yet quiet. Good value for the money.

Great location...near at the big tourist attractions

The window had been opened before we arrived and there were 10-15 flies and mosquitoes in the room. Breakfast was a dissappointment...I've never been to a hotel that rationed your breakfast for you. We were handed a plate and that's all we got - and she didn't give us a plate for our 3 or 5 year old. They were allowed the one choice of cereal and one choice of apple.

Reception opens 9am to 7pm. We arrived 7:30pm but the reception stayed opened for us. She also did not rush us but gave us a good explanation of the city and all the places to visit.

The room was on the third floor. It was very difficult to carry luggages up and down the stairs. There were no help available.

Great location right on Piazza Maria Novella and 5 minutes walk from the S.M.N. Train station. The piazza was lively, with some good (cheap and cheerful) restaurants/ cafes and the Gelato Festival - and of course, that beautiful church. Walking distance to everywhere was easy and if you like to take buses then the station is very close Easy, friendly check in and our twin room was back facing which meant it was very quiet. Didn't hear any noise from other rooms. General cleanliness and room size was good. Nice, decent sized balcony that could have done with some nicer chairs... Didn't use the aircon, but there was a unit in the room.

The bathroom was small which was expected but the shower cubicle was extremely small making showering a little bit of an ordeal. Neither of us are large people and we both struggled. However, the water was hot and the shower powerful. The toilet made us nervous...it only flushed when it wanted to and the mechanism was ancient!! The lights were too dim and only the one bed had a side lamp meaning that I couldn't read at night because the lights were too weak. Not one table in the room which meant toileteries etc ended up on the floor. As it is clearly budget and we were only there two nights, with most of our time spent out in town, none of these points were a major disaster.

Hotel location is great, at walking distance to the train station and main historic sites.

the hotel is very near to duomo and city visit.

bathroom has some kind of smell, and towel are like bed sheets.

The lady at reception was lovely and explained very well in English the fact it wasn't staffed all the time. Extremely helpful and lovely! The room was huge and had an extra single bed in even though we had only booked a double. Bathrom was good and clean. The Tourist house is in a perfect location, 5 mins away from the station and the town centre and has plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants nearby. They also offer a secure room to leave your bags after you check out if you want to have look round before you heave your luggage away, was extremly impressed and this was the best of the five different hotels we stayed in whilst in Italy.

Nothing, this place is great.

Even though I was arriving late past check in time, it was no problem for the hotel. Tehy supplied me with a telephone number to call to get the code to the front door and advised I could check in the next morning. When we arrived reception actually ended up being open and so we were able to check in there and then.

The bed was pretty ucomfortable (major roll together - Room 3), and so I wouldn't recommend it for more than a night or two, but it was excellent value and perfect for what we wanted.

It was simple but with everything that I could have wanted while my stay. The owner's are very affectionate. We got more than what we paid for. The location is awesome. We loved our stay here and would go back to this hotel whenever we visit Florence again.

The staff were friendly and helpful. They provided us with a free map of Florence and even circled some places to go. The room was clean.

If I had to say something it would be that the beds weren't that comfortable.
